Raleigh, NC -- The USA South selected sophomore Sam Peddycord as the Baseball Pitcher of the Week.

The sophomore from Kernersville, North Carolina tossed a complete-game shutout in an 11-0 win over Mary Washington in his only appearance on the mound last week for the Pacers. Peddycord tossed the full nine innings and allowed four hits and one walk with three strikeouts.
