Raleigh, NC -- The William Peace University baseball team will host Virginia State University on Tuesday, April 3rd. The Pacers (15-14) are coming off a 3-game series sweep over Averett University.

Lamm and Brann Lead the Pacers on the Mound: Braxton Lamm and Ben Brann helped secure the 3-game sweep for the Pacers, with Lamm pitching 7 innings in the final game against the Cougars, allowing just 1 ER and 6 hits while recording 7 strikeouts. Brann closed out game one and game two for the Pacers, allowing just a single hit while recording 3 strikeouts.

Allred's Continued Success At the Plate: Alec Allred continues to lead the Pacers at-bat with a .412 batting average and .505 slugging percentage. He has notched 40 hits and 17 RBI's this season.

Scouting Virginia State University: The Trojans (14-7-1) arrive after splitting a 2-game series with Bluefield State College. They are lead by Aaron Harris and Jahleel Sewer, with Harris averaging .432 at the plate and Sewer averaging .403 with a .731 slugging percentage. Both have 25 RBIs on the season. Sewer has recorded 4 homeruns after 67 appearances at the plate.
