Raleigh, NC -- The William Peace University baseball team will host St. Augustine's University in a single game on Tuesday, March 27th at 7 p.m in Cary, NC. The Pacers (11-14) are looking to bounce back after a tough series loss to Pfeiffer University, while the Falcons (10-16) arrive after falling to NC Wesleyan College.

Allred At The Plate: Alec Allred continues to lead the Pacers offensively with a .407 batting average, which is good for 5th overall in the USA South standings. In 81 appearances at the plate, Allred has 33 hits, 15 RBIs, and a .489 on-base percentage.

Jackson and Westmoreland On The Mound: Derek Jackson and Luke Westmoreland have been excellent for the Pacers in their combined 71.2 innings. Jackson has an ERA of 3.40, leading the team with 37 strikeouts while allowing 27 hits. Westmoreland is just behind Jackson with 22 strikeouts, while he holds an ERA of 2.76.

Scouting St. Augustine's University: The Falcons are led by Freshman Nick Roets, who holds a slugging percentage of .385 and an at-bat percentage of .346 in 78 appearances at the plate. In the (13-8) loss against NC Wesleyan, Roets tallied 1 run, 2 hits, and 1 RBI. Amilcar Yanez has pitched 40 innings for the Falcons, holding a 2.70 ERA while tallying 40 strikeouts. In 28.2 innings, Marquis Johnson has an impressive 38 strikeouts with an ERA of 1.26.
