RALEIGH, N.C. -- William Peace will play Methodist University in the first game of a weekend conference series. The Monarchs are 11-10 overall and 3-3 in conference. Methodist is coming in carrying a 2 game losing streak and losing 4 of their last 5 games.
The Pacers are sitting at 11-13 overall and 2-4 in the USA South. After losing all 3 games to Ferrum this past weekend, the Pacers are ready to bounce back after back to back walk-off losses. The Pacer offense is being led by Alex Scott (.386, 24 RBI, .432 ob%) and Sean Finneran (.375, 10 RBI, .506 ob %). Easton Payton has also emerged as a spark in the line up, and added two triples against the Panthers last weekend.
The game against the Monarchs will be Friday 3/17 at 6pm at the USA Baseball Complex in Cary, N.C.
