RALEIGH -- The William Peace University baseball team will host Guilford College on Friday at 6 p.m. at the USA Baseball National Training Complex. The Pacers will host the Quakers on Saturday, visit Guilford on Saturday, and host again on Sunday for a three-game series.
The Pacers won their opening series against Southern Virginia, 2-1, last weekend. William Peace took the first two games of the series and dropped the third.
Trevor Pence struck out 10 batters in the season-opener and didn't allow an earned run in seven innings.
The Quakers split a series with Piedmont last weekend winning the first, 6-5, and losing the second, 10-1.
Pence will likely start on the mound for the Pacers on Friday night.
A
live stream for the game should be available.
