Women's Basketball Hosts Lynchburg College

RALEIGH, N.C. -- The William Peace University women's basketball team (0-2)  faces Lynchburg College (5-1) on Saturday, December 2 at 6:00 p.m.
 
The Pacers enter the match having played their last game on November 20 against Pfeiffer University. WPU finds their strength in sophomore forward, Mikayla Ray, who is averaging 15.5 rebounds and 11 points per game. Junior returner, Whitney Walker also contributes 15 points and seven rebounds per game. The Pacers will be looking to cut down on their turnover ratio as they are averaging 20+ turnovers a game.

The Hornets of Lynchburg College are entering the game on a four-game winning streak having defeated USA South Conference members Averett University and Ferrum College recently. The Hornets are lead by senior forward, Caroline Naumann who is averaging a double-double with 18.8 points per game and 10.3 rebounds per game.
