Pacers Face Mustangs In Rematch

ELIZABETH CITY, N.C. -- The William Peace University women's basketball team will face Mid-Atlantic Christian University on Thursday in a rematch of the Pacers earlier meeting with the Mustangs in which the Pacers ended up topping the Mustangs, 89-55. William Peace will be looking for its sixth straight win.

The Pacers take a one-game hiatus from the conference schedule to take on Mid-Atlantic Christian University in a midweek duel. The last time these teams met, Cassidy Clark led the Pacers with 17 points and grabbed 10 rebounds. Three other Pacers scored in double figures in the dominant win.

The Mustangs are 9-9 on the year heading into the Thursday night matchup. The Pacers will have to keep pace with the Mustangs offense which averages 73.1 points per game. William Peace averages 71.7. The Mustangs are winless in their last three games, so the team will be hungry for a win, especially after the Pacers won the previous matchup this year.

Neither a live stream, nor live stats seem to be available. Be sure to follow @GoPeacePacers on Twitter for updates and GoPeacePacers.com for a recap following the conclusion of the game.
