LAGRANGE, Ga. - William Peace closed out the 2026 season Saturday afternoon with a hard fought 13-11 loss at LaGrange. The Pacers finish the year with an 8-9 overall record and 1-7 in the USA South.
The Pacers scored five goals in the second quarter to take momentum into halftime before both teams traded goals over the final two periods.
Tyler Rutherford led the offense with a career day, scoring five goals while adding five ground balls. Caleb Garey added a goal and an assist, while Derrick Buchanan and Dylan Sullivan each recorded a goal and an assist.
Brandon Goad, Isaac Pike, and Caden Tuthill also found the back of the net for the Pacers. Tuthill added four caused turnovers on the defensive end to continue his strong defensive season.
In goal, Carson McGee recorded a career high 22 saves, keeping the Pacers in the game.
William Peace closes the season after recording the most wins in program history and continuing the upward momentum of the program under head coach Troy Humphrey in his second season.
