RALEIGH, N.C. - William Peace men's basketball dropped a home conference contest on Tuesday night, falling 79-69 to Pfeiffer University inside the Hermann Athletic Center. The loss moves the Pacers to 7-12 overall and 1-7 in USA South play.
The game featured multiple lead changes early, with Pfeiffer taking a 40-37 lead into halftime. Peace responded in the second half, but it wasn't enough to stop the Falcon's consistent offense.
Elijah Cathcart led the Pacers with 18 points off the bench, while Chuks Ezeonu added 14 points and seven rebounds. Parker Hodgson finished with 13 points and seven boards, and Elijah Green chipped in 10 as Peace continued to battle throughout the night.
William Peace will look to bounce back on the road, traveling to Mary Baldwin on Saturday, February 7, for a 12 p.m. matchup.
