RALEIGH, N.C. - William Peace women's basketball earned a 69-48 victory over Salem on Friday night inside the Hermann Student Center, completing the season sweep and improving to 10-8 overall.
After a tight opening quarter, the Pacers began to take control in the second period and pulled away after halftime. Peace outscored Salem 19-8 in the third quarter and followed with a strong fourth to create separation and close out the win.
Zikira Henderson led the Pacers with 18 points, adding five rebounds, four assists, and three steals while setting the tone offensively. Ensley Perry followed with 14 points, three steals, and a block, while Amiah Griffin posted an 11 point performance with six rebounds. Alayna Randolph added 11 points and nine rebounds, contributing on both ends of the floor.
With the win, William Peace improves to 10-8 overall and 7-4 in conference play as the Pacers continue their push through the USA South schedule.
