FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. - William Peace men's basketball endured a tough road setback on Tuesday night, falling 67-55 at Methodist University. The loss drops the Pacers to 6-9 overall and 0-4 in USA South conference play.
The game remained competitive through much of the first half, but the Monarchs were able to create separation in the second half while the Pacers couldn't get things going offensively.
Chuks Ezeonu led Peace with a career high 13 points and seven rebounds. Grant Overman continued his strong play off the bench, adding 11 points and 8 rebounds in 11 minutes.
William Peace will look to regroup quickly as conference play continues, heading to Brevard on Saturday January 17th.
