BREVARD, N.C. - William Peace women's basketball dropped a 74-58 match up on the road at Brevard on Saturday afternoon. The loss moves the Pacers to 7-7 overall and 4-3 in conference play.
William Peace led after the first quarter and remained within close distance through the opening half, taking an 18-17 lead after one and trailing by just two at the break. Brevard used a solid third quarter to create separation, outscoring the Pacers 26-14 in the period and maintained the lead down the stretch.
Ensley Perry led Peace with 20 points on 8-of-16 shooting while adding four rebounds. Alayna Randolph finished with 10 points, and Zakoreya Davis provided a positive off the bench with eight points and seven rebounds. Zikira Henderson added eight points and a team-high eight rebounds, while Kristin Barber contributed three points, two rebounds, and a block.
William Peace will return home next for a conference match up against Methodist on Tuesday, January 14 at 7 p.m. inside the Hermann Athletic Center.
