FAYETTEVILLE, NC - The William Peace University women's lacrosse team faced a tough road match up Tuesday afternoon, falling 23-0 to conference opponent Methodist University.
Despite a relentless effort, the Pacers (1-6, 1-6 USA South) were blanked by a strong Monarchs squad that jumped out to a 10-0 lead in the first quarter and didn't look back. Methodist (9-5, 6-1 USA South) kept the momentum going, scoring goals in all four quarters.
Mackenzie Kirk led the Pacers with 3 ground balls and 7 turnovers forced, while Elise Langer and Liv Kanalis connected with 4 draw controls combined.
The Pacers look to regroup as they prepare for their next match up at Pfeiffer University on Saturday, April 12th.
