CHARLOTTE, N.C. - William Peace University Men's Basketball won their sixth game of the season, improving to 6-2 on the year after defeating Johnson & Wales 79-60 on Tuesday night. The pacers had previously beaten JWU earlier in the season 69-57 at the Peace Classic in Raleigh, N.C.
Although the Pacers trailed by three at halftime, a dominant second half surge ultimately put the game completely out of reach. Peace shot an efficient 68 percent from the field in the second half, allowing them to take full control down the stretch.
Freshman guard Dalton Johnson continued to showcase his play making ability, rallying the Pacers with a strong performance as he added 10 points, 2 assists, and went an efficient 5-for-7 from the field.
Parker Hodgson added another well-rounded outing, finishing with a double-double that included 13 points and 10 rebounds while helping anchor the Pacers on both ends of the floor.
The Pacers will return home for their next contest on Sunday, December 7th at 2 PM when they host Warren Wilson inside the Herm.
