ROCKY MOUNT, N.C. - William Peace volleyball earned a 3-0 sweep over N.C. Wesleyan on Tuesday night in Rocky Mount. The Pacers rolled to set wins of 25-11, 26-24, and 25-18 to improve to 14-12 overall and 7-7 in USA South play.
Sarah Yates and Aubrey Chesson led the offense with 11 kills each, with Chesson also adding 13 digs. Maegan Brylski set the pace with 30 assists, three service aces, and nine digs. Caitlin Bailey was efficient at the net, hitting .313 with five kills and two solo blocks, while Tameka Adams and Jordyn Chinigo each chipped in four kills.
Defensively, Gracie Payne led the back line with 21 digs as the Pacers held the Bishops to just a .081 hitting percentage.Â
The Pacers return home this Friday, October 31, to host a USA South tri-match with Pfeiffer and Southern Virginia inside the Hermann Athletic Center.
