GREENSBORO, N.C. - The William Peace volleyball team dropped a three-set match to USA South leader Greensboro on Tuesday evening inside Hanes Gymnasium. The Pacers (8-12, 1-7 USA South) battled through each frame but ultimately fell by scores of 15-25, 13-25, and 20-25.
Aubrey Chesson led the Pacer attack with nine kills, while Sarah Yates and Caitlin Bailey each added six. Jordyn Chinigo recorded a .429 hitting percentage with three kills. Setter Maegan Brylski ran the offense with 22 assists and added 10 digs defensively.
Defensively, Gracie Payne steadied the back row with a team-high 13 digs.
The Pacers return home this Saturday, October 18th to celebrate their senior class before a 1 PM match up against Methodist.
