RALEIGH, N.C. - William Peace Athletics is pleased to announce that Logan Moore is the department's new Athletic Communications Assistant and Assistant Volleyball Coach. Moore joined the staff on Monday, January 27th.
A native of Jacksonville, N.C., Moore graduated from William Peace in the Spring of 2024, earning her bachelor's degree in Psychology & Criminal Justice, while also competing on the Volleyball team.
"We are thrilled to have Logan back home at Peace!" WPU Athletic Director Claude Shields said. "She was a tremendous leader for the institution and Volleyball program as a student-athlete and we know that will continue in this new role. Her experience in Sports Information will be vital to help provide a great experience for all of our student-athletes. As a coach, she will be a huge asset to help Coach Marshall produce outstanding young women on and off the court!"
Logan specializes in athletic communications with both basketball and volleyball, having gained three years of experience in these areas as a student at WPU.
"I'm incredibly excited to give back to the William Peace University community, a place that has played such a significant role in shaping my own journey." Moore said. "I want to offer student-athletes here the same positive, supportive experience that I had, helping them grow as athletes and as individuals. As always, Go Pacers!"
Moore played a critical role on the 2021 USA South Regular Season Championship team, earning over 1500 digs in her athletic career as a Defensive Specialist.
With 6 years of coaching experience with the Carolina Legacy Volleyball Club as the Lead Defensive Coach, she will help aid WPU Volleyball to new heights in the coming seasons with her expertise.
She is also currently earning her Masters Degree in Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
