Green Tabbed USA South Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week

RALEIGH, N.C. - William Peace point guard Elijah Green was selected USA South Men's Basketball Rookie of the Week after leading the Pacers to victory over JWU Charlotte on Dec. 4.

The freshman guard pumped in 23 points to spark the Pacers past the Wildcats 85-74 at home for their season's first win. The Charlotte, N.C., native connected on 9 of 12 shots from the floor including 5 of 6 from three-point range. Green added three rebounds and one assist.

Green leads the Pacers in scoring (9 ppg), assists (2.8 apg) and free throw percentage (91.7) after six games. His 23 points are the most of any Pacer in a game this season.
