Baseball Splits Doubleheader With SVU

BUENA VISTA, VA -- William Peace University baseball split with SVU, falling 7-6 in game one before winning game two 5-4 in extra innings.

KEY POINTS
Game One
  • The Knights would take an early 1-0 lead in the 1st with a homerun. A wild pitch would put them up 2-0 in the second.
  • Homeruns from Sean Roseborough and Brett Kemp would give the Pacers a 3-2 lead in the third, but another homerun from the Knights would tie it 3-3. Nick Tubolino and Nick Tyler would homeruns in the 4th for a 6-3 lead.
