RALEIGH, NC -- William Peace University baseball rallied in the 7th and 8th innings to take down NCWU 3-2 and win the series 2-1.
THE BASICS

KEY POINTS
- The first four innings would be a battle between pitchers McIntosh and Cheeley as both would collect several strikeouts to keep it scoreless. NCWU would get on the board in the 5th to lead 1-0.
- A homerun at the top of the 7th would put the Battling Bishops up 2-0. In the bottom of the seventh, Jake Dacunto would bring in Hunter Ward to cut the score to 2-1. A sac fly from Ian Turner would score Patrick Rogan to tie it 2-2.
- In the bottom of the 8th, a single to center field from Hunter Ward would put the Pacers up 3-2. The Pacers would hold NCWU at the top of the 9th to win the game 3-2 and the series 2-1.
