- The Panthers would start out hot in the first inning with a sacrifice fly from O. Torres and singles from C. Michael and N. Funk putting them up 3-0. A 2-RBI homerun from R. Golembe in the 2nd would give them a 5-0 lead, while N. Funk would bring in C. Michael in the 3rd for a 6-0 lead.
- Ferrum would take an 8-0 lead at the top of the 6th before a single from Adam Joseph and a single from Brett Kemp would put the Pacers on the board in the 8th as they trailed 8-3. The Panthers would add a final run on a sacrifice fly in the 9th to walk away with the 9-3 win.
