KEY POINTS
- The Pacers would go up 1-0 early in the bottom of the first on an error that would allow Hunter Ward to score. The Hornets would have a huge 2nd inning, taking a 7-1 lead on a few hits and errors. The Pacers would respond in the bottom of the inning with doubles from Jake Dacunto and Nick Tyler to cut the lead to 7-4.
- In the bottom of the fourth, the Pacers would rally as a walked-in run would score Cole Robbins. A sacrifice fly from Brett Kemp would score Cameron Barefoot for a 7-6 game. Nick Tyler would score to tie it 7-7 after an RBI Cameron Butler, while a single from Jake Dacunto and an error would put the Pacers up 9-7.
- In the 5th, the Hornets would take a 10-9 lead on a few walks. A single from Nick Tyler would tie it 10-10 in the bottom of the 6th as Jake Dacunto scored. The Hornets would take an 11-10 lead on a single at the top of the 9th and would hold the Pacers in the bottom of the inning.
