Women's Lacrosse Falls To Sweet Briar

RALEIGH, NC – William Peace University women's lacrosse fell 15-2 to Sweet Briar College.

THE BASICS

KEY POINTS

The Vixens would get out to an early 3-0 lead in the 1st before a goal from Keslee Hylton would cut the score to 3-1. Sweet Briar would add a late goal for a 4-1 lead after the 1st.
The Vixens would notch 7 goals in the 2nd to lead 11-1. Aryal Brandon and McKinnley Shortt would each collect 4 saves.
In the 3rd, the Vixens would go up 13-1 before a goal from Sarah Gonzalez would put the score at 13-2. The Vixens would add two final goals in the third to secure a 15-2 win.
