Women's Lacrosse Drops Contest to Randolph

LYNCHBURG, VA – William Peace University women's lacrosse fell 16-2 to Randolph College.

THE BASICS

KEY POINTS

The Wildcats would put on the pressure in the first half, taking a quick 5-0 lead in the first quarter. Goalie McKinnley Shortt would pick up 13 saves throughout the first half as the Wildcats added 6 more in the second period for an 11-0 lead.
Keslee Hylton would get the Pacers on the board in the third as they trailed 11-1 with an assist from Morgan May. The Pacers would hold the Wildcats to just two goals in the third as they headed in the fourth with a 13-1 lead.
In the fourth period, the Wildcats would add three goals from Logan Warren to lead 16-1. Keslee Hylton would add her second, assisted by Elise Langer.
