WINSTON-SALEM, NC -- William Peace University Men's and Women's Track & Field continued the strong start to their indoor season at the JDL DMR Invitational. The Pacers set several new school records and picked up several top-10 finishes against DI competition.
Majesty Smith set two new records, one in the women's shot put and one in the women's weight throw.
Myla Barnes would move into second on the school record list in shot put.
Sharif Blount moved into 2nd on the record board in the 800m, while
Isaiah Costner moved into 3rd and
Miles Soza moved into 4th. The Pacers also had their first first competitor in the pole vault in program history with
Mason Coon, who finished 8th.
The Pacers will continue their indoor season on February 24th with another meet at the JDL Fast Track.
