Women's Lacrosse Falls To Huntingdon

RALEIGH, NC– William Peace University women's lacrosse fell 20-1 to Huntingdon College. The Pacers return to play tomorrow, April 9th, to celebrate Ashby King, Shauna Taylor, Juliana Jaynes, Brittany Wortman, and Christina Valentic on senior day.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Hawks would get out to a strong start, notching 12 goals in the first half. Celina Owens-Campbell would tally 5 of her 8 goals in the first half. Aryal Brandon would be strong in goal for the Pacers, making 15 saves throughout the game. Jennifer Hutchinson would put the Pacers on the board in the 3rd, cutting the score to 14-1. The Hawks would continue to put on the pressure, adding a few more goals to take a 20-1 win over the Pacers.
