Brandon Sets New Program Record In Contest Against Knights

CARY, NC– William Peace University women's lacrosse fell 16-1 to Southern Virginia University. The Pacers celebrated seniors Ashby King, Christina Valentic, Shauna Taylor, Juliana Jaynes, and Brittany Wortman. Aryal Brandon broke her own program record of saves in a single game as she notched 24.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Knights would get out to a strong first period, scoring 6 consecutive goals, with Adelaide Smith notching 3 of those, to lead 6-0. In the second, they would add another six to lead 12-0 at the half. Aryal Brandon would notch several excellent saves throughout the game, breaking her previous program record of saves in a single game as she tallied 24 saves. At the start of the third, Madison Bradley would get the Pacers on the board as the team trailed 12-1. The Pacer defense would hold the Knights to just four goals in the second half as the Pacers fell 16-1 to the Knights.
