STAUNTON, VA -- William Peace University men's soccer took down Mary Baldwin 3-0 to pick up their 4th consecutive shutout victory in USA South Conference action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Neither team would get much going in the first half.
Jorge Aguilar,
Danny Alvarez, and
Alex Macedo would each get a few chances, but keeper Tucker Speak would keep them off the scoresheet.
Tripp Kidd would continue to be solid for the Pacers, and the game would go into halftime scoreless.
Josh Rutland would find the back of the net at 47:31, assisted by
Jorge Lemus, to put the Pacers up 1-0. The Pacers would increase the pressure on the Fighting Squirrels as they put several shots on net. Lemus would find
Danny Alvarez, who would score on a tight angle to increase the Pacer lead to 2-0.
Josh Rutland would continue to earn good opportunities and would be rewarded at 87:47 for a 3-0 lead, assisted by
Alex Macedo, to secure the Pacer win.
