Women's Lacrosse Takes Down Hollins

The Basics:

How it Happened:
  • Rylie Toomey would begin the fast-paced start for the Pacers with back-to-back goals in the first 30 seconds of play.
  • Dana Florian would score just 20 seconds after Toomey.
  • Anne Evans, Toomey, and Allison Schaper would score on free position shots in the following minute.
  • Nine minutes into the first half, Kirsten DUnham would find Schaper for her second goal of the game. Schaper would score twice more on free position shots just moments later, extending the Pacer lead to 8-0, with 18:46 remaining in the first half.
  • Hollins University would jump on the scoreboard after maintaining possession by Allie Helmbrecht.
  • Rylie Toomey would find answer for HU as she scored an impressive behind the back goal with 10 minutes remaining.
