Raleigh, NC-- The William Peace University Men's Lacrosse team will host Wabash College on Wednesday night at 7PM in the program's first home game.
The Pacers are coming off a loss to the Bridgewater College Eagles this past weekend will look to get back on track and pick up the win. Wabash College comes into the contest (1-2) overall after a (5-8) loss to fellow USA South member Piedmont College.
Tanner Brown giving the Pacers a Spark: The Sophomore from New Bern, NC is coming off a hat trick performance against Bridgewater College. Brown now has 6 goals on the season to go along with 8 ground balls, Brown has scored in three out of four games for the Pacers. The hardworking midfielder has been coming off the bench but has been making the most of his role.
Looking Forward: The William Peace Men's Lacrosse team led by Nate Bates, are four games into their first season. The young season has brought many firsts for the program. A lineup boosting 20 freshmen has proven that there is room for growth. However the young season has also shown that there is a lot to look forward to. Underclassmen have been leading the attack for the Pacers. Austin Abourjilie now has 13 goals, Michael Meley has 5 goals, Nick Falso has 6 goals and Sophomore Anthony Florian has 8 goals. Freshman goalie Nick Shelton now tallies 65 saves in the cage for the Pacers.
Scouting Wabash College: Wabash have scored 25 goals in the season, while allowing 22. Collin Brennan and Steven Stark  lead the Wabash attack. Brennan comes into the matchup with 7 goals, four assists and 5 ground balls.  While Stark comes in with six goals and 7 assist.
The 7pm match-up will be held at Ting Park in Holly Springs, NC.
