RALEIGH, NC -- The William Peace University men's lacrosse team will face Pfeiffer University on Wednesday, March 21 at 7:00 p.m in Holly Springs, NC. The Pacers are currently (3-6) overall after a 16-9 loss to Brevard College, while the Falcons are (5-3) following a 16-9 win over Methodist University.

Continued Success for the Pacer Offense:
Austin Abourjilie and Anthony Florian lead the Pacers offensively, with both adding 2 goals in the loss to Brevard. Both currently have 26 points on the season, while Florian also leads the team with 29 ground balls. Nick Falso is just behind them with 23 points.

Miller and Shelton Stand Strong:
Nick Shelton continues to be strong in goal for WPU. In his 9 starts, he has 104 saves and a 48.4 percentage. In the face-offs, Drew Miller has led the Pacers with a 38.2 percentage in the 144 he has taken.

Scouting Pfeiffer University:
In their last game against Methodist University, Jared Nelson led the Falcons with seven goals and three assists to add to his season total of 56 points. Senior Blade Garlow leads the team and USA South with 41 goals this season, with 6 of those being scored in man-up situations. Pfeiffer has scored a combined 117 goals, averaging 14.63 per game.
