Raleigh, NC -- The William Peace University Men's Lacrosse team will head to Bridgewater, VA as they match-up against the Bridgewater Eagles on Saturday, March 2nd at 2pm.
The Pacers are looking to rebound after a midweek loss to Greensboro College, 5-10.
Abourjilie Leading The Offense For William Peace: Freshman Austin Abourjilie has had a strong start to the season for the Pacers. Abourjilie a native of Greensboro, NC is currently leading the team in goals (11) and also points (12) four games into the season.
Shelton Standing Strong In The Cage For The Pacers: Nick Shelton has 54 saves in the young season, to go along with five ground balls and a 55% save percentage.
Scouting the Bridgewater Eagles: Bridgewater College comes into the contest (3-0) after picking up wins over fellow USA members Averett University and Ferrum College. The Eagles most recently picked up a win over Marymount, (VA) 13-10.
Attackman Blake Mann comes in leading the team in goals with 9 in three games played. Mann has two assists, five ground balls and 11 points overall. Junior Sean Macleish stands at five goals, 5 assists, five ground balls with 11 points overall.
