Raleigh, NC -- The William Peace University Men's Lacrosse team will head to Lynchburg, VA for their second game of their inaugural season on Wednesday, February 21st to face Randolph College.
WPU (0-1) is coming off a 14-13 overtime loss against Montreat College on February 10th. In that game, the Pacers gave up a 13-7 lead in the fourth quarter, with Montreat scoring on a extra man opportunity in overtime. Sophomore Anthony Florian and freshman Austin Abourjilie both tallied 4 goals against the Cavaliers, and sophomore Nick Shelton recorded 17 saves in net.
Randolph (0-1) first game of the season resulted in a 12-4 loss to Brevard, with Matt Lindenbaum making 7 saves and Kadri Hearns scoring 2 goals for the Wildcats.
