Rebecca Fraser

Rebecca Fraser currently serves as both the Head Sports Performance Coach (Joined Fall of 2022) and Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach at William Peace University. Appointed as Head Lacrosse Coach in May 2025 after serving as Interim during the spring season, Fraser brings a unique blend of high-performance training expertise and collegiate athletic experience to her dual roles.

A certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) with a master's degree in kinesiology from Barton College, Fraser oversees the development and implementation of comprehensive performance programs for all 18 varsity teams at WPU. In addition to her coaching and training responsibilities, she also teaches courses in strength and conditioning and cross-training as an adjunct professor in the Exercise and Sport Science Department.

Fraser played soccer and lacrosse at NCAA Division II Barton College. She was a five-time All-Conference selection in lacrosse for Conference Carolinas and led the conference in ground balls every season from 2017 to 2021. She also ranked first in caused turnovers per game in four of those five years. A two-time NCAA Division II statistical national champion in ground balls per game (2017, 2021), she finished her career in 2021 as the NCAA’s active career leader in ground balls across all divisions; the Division II active career leader in ground balls per game, caused turnovers per game, and total caused turnovers; and second in active career caused turnovers across all NCAA divisions.

She holds Barton’s all-time records for ground balls (326) and caused turnovers (183) and ranked among the NCAA’s top three in ground balls per game for five consecutive seasons. In addition to her lacrosse accomplishments, Fraser earned All-Conference honors in women’s soccer.

Fraser’s dedication to athlete development, both physically and mentally, continues to shape the student-athlete experience at William Peace University.
