Rebecca Fraser

Rebecca Fraser joined William Peace University in the fall of 2022 as Head Sports Performance Coach and will enter her fifth year with the Pacers during the 2026-27 academic year. Fraser also served as Head Women’s Lacrosse Coach during the 2025 and 2026 seasons after being appointed to the role in May 2025 following an interim coaching stint during the spring season. Beginning in 2026-27, Fraser will return to her full-time role leading the department’s sports performance efforts.

A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS), Fraser oversees the development and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for all 18 varsity sports at William Peace University. In addition to her athletic department responsibilities, she also serves as an adjunct professor within the Exercise and Sport Science Department, teaching courses in strength and conditioning and cross-training.

Prior to arriving at William Peace, Fraser competed collegiately in both women’s soccer and women’s lacrosse at Barton College. One of the most accomplished players in Barton women’s lacrosse history, she earned five All-Conference selections in Conference Carolinas while leading the conference in ground balls every season from 2017-21. Fraser also ranked first in caused turnovers per game in four of those five seasons and finished her career as a two-time NCAA Division II statistical national champion in ground balls per game (2017, 2021).

At the conclusion of her collegiate career, Fraser ranked as the NCAA’s active career leader in ground balls across all divisions while also leading Division II active players in ground balls per game, caused turnovers per game, and total caused turnovers. She finished second among all active NCAA players in career caused turnovers and continues to hold Barton College program records for career ground balls (326) and caused turnovers (183). Fraser also earned All-Conference honors in women’s soccer during her collegiate career.

Fraser earned a master’s degree in Kinesiology from Barton College and remains committed to enhancing the student-athlete experience through athletic performance development, leadership, and mentorship.
