Cedric Wilkerson enters his third season as Assistant Women’s Basketball Coach at William Peace University in 2026-27 after joining the program in July 2024.

Wilkerson has helped assist Head Coach Annalee Bollinger in guiding the Pacers through one of the largest turnarounds in Division III women’s basketball. During the 2025-26 season, William Peace finished 16-11 overall and 12-6 in USA South Conference play, marking a 12-win improvement from the previous season and the second-largest win improvement in Division III, as recognized by D3SportsData.

The Pacers advanced to the USA South Tournament Semifinals after earning a road victory at Pfeiffer in the opening round. Freshman guard Ensley Perry earned USA South Rookie of the Year honors, becoming the first player in program history to receive the award, while also collecting six USA South Rookie of the Week honors. Zikira Henderson added Second Team All-Conference recognition during the season.

Wilkerson joined William Peace following the 2023-24 season at Heritage High School, where he served as Head Junior Varsity Women’s Basketball Coach. He led the Heritage Jayvees to a 17-2 overall record and an 8-2 conference mark while finishing as conference runner-up.

Prior to Heritage, Wilkerson served as Head Boys Basketball Coach at Wake Prep Academy from 2022-23 after spending four seasons as Head Boys Basketball Coach at Thales Academy Rolesville from 2018-22. His coaching experience also includes serving as Athletic Director at East Millbrook Middle School, where he oversaw 10 athletic programs.

Known for his leadership and relationship-building approach, Wilkerson has extensive experience mentoring and developing future collegiate student-athletes both on and off the court.

A native of Forest City, North Carolina, Wilkerson graduated from Western Carolina University in 2017 with a degree in Sport and Fitness Administration/Management before earning his Master’s degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University Irvine in 2020.
