Zachary Riggs will enter his fourth year at William Peace University during the 2026-27 academic year and currently serves as an Associate Athletic Trainer for the Pacers after previously serving as an Assistant Athletic Trainer within the department.
During his time at William Peace, he has worked with the men’s soccer, baseball, women’s volleyball, men’s lacrosse, women’s lacrosse, and men’s and women’s basketball programs. In 2026-27, Riggs will serve as the primary athletic trainer for the men’s soccer and baseball programs.
Prior to arriving at William Peace in March 2023, Riggs served as an Athletic Training Fellow for Football at Duke University. He also completed athletic training clinical experiences at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Dreher High School, Mid-Carolina High School, and Davidson College, gaining experience across both collegiate and secondary school athletic settings.
Riggs earned a Master of Science degree in Athletic Training from University of South Carolina in 2022 after completing a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2020.
