William Peace University

Jake Norris returns for his fourth year as an assistant coach with William Peace University baseball, working primarily with the hitters and infielders.

A Wake Forest, N.C. native and Wakefield High School alum, Norris was a catcher for the Pacers from 2018–2022. He posted a .991 fielding percentage with just five passed balls in his career and was part of both the first Pacer team to qualify for the USA South Conference Tournament and the winningest team in program history.

He began his coaching career in 2023, helping guide the Pacers to a record-breaking season and a trip to the conference championship game. In the summer of 2025, Norris also coached with the Wake Forest Fungo of the Old North State League.
