Coach Sibrizzi enters his first season on staff as the hitting coach. Most recently, Sibrizzi coached at Wake Tech where he served 3 years as head coach and 2 years as assistant coach. He leaves the program while being involved with 144 wins, 85 of them at the helm. In his 5 seasons at Wake Tech, he coached 20 All Region X performers, 6 players that have made the Region X All-Defensive Team, and 2 All-Americans. His player achievements also includes an MLB 6th round draft pick, Austin Warren who was selected by the Angels in the 2018 draft as well as a 20th round draft pick, Yorvis Torrealba who was selected by the Rockies in the 2019 draft.
Prior to his time at Wake Tech, Sibrizzi coached at Averett University, where he worked as the recruiting coordinator and specifically worked with the hitters and infielders. In his 4 seasons at Averett, he coached 2 All-Region performers, 14 USA South All Conference selections, 5 VaSID All-State performers, and over 20 All-Academic performers.
During the summer of 2017, he was hired on as the manager for the Holly Springs Salamanders, a summer collegiate baseball team in the Coastal Plain League. 9 of his players from that team are currently playing professional baseball and has a total of 13 players that he has coached in the past that are currently living out their dreams as playing in the professional ranks.
Sibrizzi has a Master's Degree in Education as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Medicine - both degrees earned at Averett University, where he also played baseball for 4 seasons. He was selected as the Averett Cougar Club Male Athlete of the Year following his senior season in which he was named to the USA South All-Conference Honorable Mention Team as a third baseman and picked as Averett's representative on the USA South All-Sportsmanship Team.
A member of the Academic All-Conference Team, Sibrizzi also earned numerous all-conference honors. During his freshman season, he was named the USA South Conference Rookie of the Year, was selected to the USA South All-Conference First Team and the USA South All-Tournament Team as a second baseman, and he was an Honorable Mention All-Region selection. He was named to the USA South All-Conference Honorable Mention team as a sophomore and senior, as well as earning a spot on the All-Sportsmanship Team his senior year and leading the country in sacrifice hits.
Coach Sibrizzi currently resides in Garner with his wife, Amanda and his son, Addison.
