2015 (Junior): Complete game-by-game stats for Christian Neal … Team’s Most Valuable Player … Played in 24 games and made 21 starts, nine of which came on the mound … Earned USA South Pitcher of the Week honors (Apr. 13) and was also named to the D3baseball.com National Team of the Week after his complete-game, four-hit shutout against Piedmont (Apr. 10), where he also racked up 17 strikeouts to set a new program record and a season high for all of Division III … Compiled a 3-6 record with a 4.40 ERA in 57.1 innings of work … Ranked first in the conference with four complete games and 9.89 strikeout per nine innings, while finishing third in total strikeouts with 63 … Earned the team’s first-ever conference win against NC Wesleyan (Feb. 22) striking out 10 and giving up only two runs in a complete-effort … Finished the year as the team’s leading hitter and the conference’s 14th leading hitter, batting .364 with a team best .425 on base percentage, seven RBIs and three runs scored … Second on the team with 24 hits and four doubles … Recorded eight multi-hit games, including a 3-for-4 game against Averett (Apr. 3) and three straight multi-hit games to close the season against Guilford (Apr. 17-18)
