LYNCHBURG, Va. - William Peace continued its unbeaten start Wednesday night with a 13-4 road win over Randolph, improving to 6-0 on the season.
The Pacers controlled the game from the opening quarter and steadily built separation as the night went on, outscoring Randolph 7-2 over the final two periods. Peace finished with 36 shots and held the Wildcats to just four goals.
Caleb Garey delivered a historic offensive performance, scoring nine goals and adding an assist for 10 total points. William English contributed two goals and two assists, while Aidan McNeely added two goals of his own as the Pacers offense continued to produce.
Defensively, Carson McGee recorded seven saves in goal as the Pacers limited Randolph's scoring chances throughout the game.
Head coach Troy Humphrey pointed to several standout efforts but emphasized the need for continued improvement as the season progresses.
"Some outstanding individual efforts. We need to be better as a team," Humphrey said.
William Peace will return home Sunday when it hosts Thomas at 11 a.m.
