PINEHURST, N.C. – The William Peace University men's golf team competed September 15–16 at the Sandhills College Invitational, battling a strong field at the famed Pinehurst courses.

Sophomore Finn Howard led the Pacers with consistent rounds of 79 and 79, finishing with a two-day total of 158 to place tied for 26th overall. Lucas Bailey followed with scores of 83 and 88 for a 171 total (T38), while Dylan Martin was just one stroke behind after scoring back to back rounds of 86 to finish at 172 (40th).

William Peace will return to action on September 21-22 as they head to N.C. Wesleyan for the Don Scalf Memorial to wrap up fall play.
