RALEIGH, NC - William Peace University women's lacrosse dropped a 24-1 contest to Meredith College during the first round of the USA South Tournament on Saturday afternoon in Raleigh.
The Pacers (2-9) opened strong with an early goal from Mary Langer, who netted her first of the game to tie it 1-1 midway through the first quarter.
However, the Avenging Angels responded quickly, building momentum with a string of goals to pull away.
Langer led the Pacers offensively with the team's lone goal and two shots.
The Pacers finish the 2025 season 2-9 overall, (2-8 USA South)
