Pacers Place Second Overall, Williams Claims Title at Glenn Heath Memorial

?The William Peace University men's golf team delivered a strong performance at the Glenn Heath Memorial Tournament, held April 14–15, 2025, at the Williamsburg Golf Club in Williamsburg, Virginia. The Pacers earned second place, posting a two-day total of 607 strokes (+31 over par), just six strokes behind the tournament winner, Shenandoah University, which finished at 601 (+25).

Ian Williams secured the individual championship with rounds of 70 and 66, totaling 136 strokes (-8 under par), leading by nine strokes.

Jack Batts tied for 5th place with rounds of 75 and 74, totaling 149 strokes (+5 over par).

Luke Dennis recorded consistent rounds of 80, totaling 160 strokes (+16 over par).

Finn Howard scored rounds of 88 and 79, totaling 167 strokes (+23 over par).

The Pacers finish out a strong regular spring season under first time head coach Alex Kulka with two first place finishes and one second place finish. Williams also captured two individual titles of his own this spring.

They will now prepare for the USA South tournament finals that will take place April 28-30 in Spartanburg, SC.
