NELLYSFORD, Va. – The William Peace University men's golf team competed at the Knights Invitational on September 8–9, hosted by Southern Virginia University at Stoney Creek at Wintergreen Resort.
Sophomore Finn Howard led the Pacers with rounds of 81 and 80 for a two-day total of 161 (+17), tying for 24th in the 55-player field. Luke Dennis followed closely with a second-round 76, finishing at 162 (+18). Dylan Martin recorded rounds of 82 and 83 for a 165 (+21), while Luke Bailey rounded out the lineup at 172 (+28).
The Knights Invitational featured a strong field of USA South and regional programs, with Hampden-Sydney and Bridgewater leading the way on the team leaderboard.
William Peace will return to action next weekend as they travel to Longleaf Golf Club in Pinehurst to take part in the Sanhills Invitational.
