KINGSPORT, T.N. - The William Peace University Men's Swimming team earned second place overall at the Independent South Swimming Championships in Kingsport, T.N. this past weekend. They beat Southern Virginia Universitty by 4 points, earning their highest finish in school history.
The Men earned conference championship awards in the 400 Yard Medley Relay. Noah Goetsch earned conference champion in the 100 Yard Freestyle Relay. Joseph Williams set a school record in the 100 Yard Butterfly in both prelims and finals.
The William Peace University Swim Coaching Staff also earned ISSC Coaching Staff of the Year.

200 Yard Medley Relay:
- The team of Elijah Horman, Noah Goetsch, Joseph Williams, and Wilks Smith placed second with a time of 1:42.07
500 Yard Freestyle:
- Stone Doppke finished sixth with a finals time of 5:43.73 and prelim time of 5:46.60, followed by Ruben Garcia final time at 5:53.20 and prelim time of 5:50.70
