Women's Basketball Stays Perfect in Conference Play with Road Win at Mary Baldwin

STAUNTON, Va. - William Peace women's basketball earned its sixth win of the season on Sunday afternoon, defeating Mary Baldwin 78-65 to remain unbeaten in USA South play. The victory marked the Pacers' third straight win and moved them to 3-0 in conference action.

Peace set the tone early, jumping out to a 22-14 lead in the opening quarter and never trailing the rest of the way. The Pacers maintained steady control through all four periods to keep Mary Baldwin at arm's length.

Alayna Randolph led a deep offensive effort with 14 points while adding seven rebounds and six steals. Ensley Perry and Amiah Griffin each scored 11 points, with Griffin also contributing on the glass. Kristin Barber provided a strong spark off the bench with 10 points, and Zakoreya Davis added nine points while shooting a perfect 4-for-4 from the field.

William Peace finished with 40 points in the paint, 22 fast break points, and 31 bench points, highlighting the team's all-around performance. The Pacers also forced 21 turnovers and converted them into 24 points, continuing a strong defensive stretch in conference play.

With the win, William Peace improves to 6-3 overall and 3-0 in the USA South. The Pacers return to action tomorrow afternoon, traveling to face Southern Virginia in another conference match up at 2 p.m.
