Volleyball Picks Up Third Straight Win At Hill City Classic

LYNCHBURG, Va. – William Peace defeated Randolph 3-1 for its third straight volleyball win in two days in the Hill City Classic on Saturday.

The Pacers (7-4 overall) left Lynchburg, Va., having beaten all three opponents by four sets in the event. They topped Lynchburg and LaGrange on Friday.

The three-match win streak is the Pacers' first since 2023 when they captured four consecutive victories. They will be seeking their fourth win in a row on Wednesday (Sept. 18) in the USA South Conference opener against Pfeiffer at home.

Jordan Juanes sparked a balanced attack with 15 kills for the Pacers, who won 25-21, 25-21, 17-25, 25-17. Chassie Jacops and Sarah Yates added 13 kills and 12 kills, respectively, and Maegan Brylski finished with 37 assists.

Vivian Camplin totaled 14 digs followed by Savannah Hairr and Katie Arens with 12 digs apiece. The trio of Georgia Grace Anderson, Jordyn Chinigo and Brylski each had two blocks.

The Pacers outshot Randolph .254 to .216 in total attempts. They had 61 kills to 41 kills for the Wildcats (6-4 overall).
