Brandon Records 17 Saves In Women's Lacrosse Defeat

CARY, N.C. – The score from Saturday's 19-0 women's lacrosse loss to Southern Virginia does not reflect how well William Peace goalie Aryal Brandon played in the USA South Conference contest.

Brandon, a junior from Albuquerque, N.M., was on the field the full 60 minutes, recording 17 saves on 49 shots in the defeat. She was one of several bright spots for the Pacers.

Samantha Autry was credited with three draw controls and Mary Langer had two. Alexis Inman and Camryn Whittlesey each finished with three ground balls.

The Pacers will play again Tuesday, March 26, against Sweet Briar in Sweet Briar, Va. Game time is 6 p.m.
