Kaitlyn Kucera Breaks School Record In 200 Breaststroke
RALEIGH, N.C. – William Peace set two school records at the Pacer Invitational men's and women's swim meet held at Pullen Aquatic Center this weekend (Nov. 22-23).

Kaitlyn Kucera posted a school record time of 2:39.73 in the 200 breaststroke and the 400 medley relay team of Elijah Horman, Noah Goetsch, Joseph Williams and Jack Lancaster set a school record time of 3:40.13.

The host Pacers faced keen competition in the Invitational, which featured nine men's teams and eight women's teams. William Peace tied for fifth in the women's standings and sixth in the men's standings. Lynchburg was the men's and women's winner, and Roanoke and Barton finished second and third, respectively, in both standings.

"Overall, this was a great meet for us," WPU Head Coach Brad Shannon said. "We set countless season bests and lifetime bests along with a slew of new program top ten times and two school records."
